Viewing and editing your billing details

If you have purchased a Portant Plan and need to update or edit anything to do with your billing settings, then this is the article for you.

In this article you’ll learn how to:

  1. Open your billing settings page

  2. Update your Portant Plan

  3. Update your payment method

  4. Update your email address (for invoices)

  5. Update your billing details (including tax information)

Open your billing settings page

Your billing settings options are located on the billing page here: https://app.portant.co/settings/billing

On this page you can view the date your plan renews on and also upgrade to a new plan.

When you have purchased a paid Portant plan a 'Manage' button will appear on the page next to 'Current Plan'. If you click the 'Manage' button, another tab in your browser will open, which will look like this:

This is where you can view the date your plan renews on, update you plan, your payment card details, email address (for invoices), billing details (including tax info)and the history of invoices (including pdf downloads).

Update your Portant Plan

To update your Portant Plan, please click on the 'Update plan' button in the Current Plan section. Here you will be able to select a new plan. If you select a new plan, it will begin right away and we will credit you for the time remaining in your billing cycle

Update your payment method

To update your payment method, click on the 'Add payment method' button under the 'PAYMENT METHOD' section and add the new details (you need to add a new payment method first and then remove your old one). After you have added a payment method you can switch the new payment method to default and then delete the old one.

Update your email address

To update your email address, click on the 'Update information' button under the 'BILLING INFORMATION' section and enter you new email address.

This is the email address that all future invoices will be emailed to.

Update your billing details (including tax information)

To update your billing details, click on the 'Update information' button under the 'BILLING INFORMATION' section and update your billing details. This is also where you can add your tax information if you need this to appear on your invoices.

Cancel your subscription

The option to cancel your subscription is located under the 'CURRENT PLAN' section. To cancel your subscription, click the 'Cancel plan' button and confirm. When you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to Portant Pro until the end of the subscription period.

View and download invoices

To view and download invoices, scroll down to the 'BILLING HISTORY' section. Here you can view all the invoices related to Portant Pro and open them to view more details. To open them click the date of the related invoice. This will open up a new tab with the invoices where you can download a pdf copy if you need to.
