Did you know you can easily create a customized tag from your source table? This feature is especially helpful when working with tags that have lengthy descriptions. By using a shorter, customized tag, you can simplify the process of locating and inserting tags into your template, making your workflow smoother and more efficient. 🤩

1. Map Custom Tags from Your Source Table
In this guide article we will jump straight to mapping custom tags from your source table. However, if this is your first time creating a Portant workflow, please refer to this article.
Once you've created your workflow open the Template Block:
Next, locate the source table on the right side of your screen and find the tag you want to create a custom version of:
Then, click the dropdown button next to the tag name to reveal a field titled "Custom Tag":
Enter the text for your custom tag:
You're all set! 🥳 Now you can use the custom tag in your template, making it easier to identify and work with:
