Is Portant down?
When something stops working, first find out whether the problem is on our side or in your own setup. A platform problem affects many workflows and many users at once. A setup problem, such as an expired connection, usually affects one workflow or one person.
Check the status page
Open status.portant.co. It shows any current incident and the updates our team posts while we fix it.
A slowdown can start before the status page shows it. If the page is green but you see several of the signs below at the same time, tell us in the support chat.
Signs of a platform problem
It is likely a platform problem when you see one or more of these:
- The Portant app, or the list of workflows, does not load.
- A 502 error, or a message that the gateway took too long to respond.
- Many items are stuck or fail at the same time, in more than one workflow.
- Items stay on Preparing and show no error.
- The Portant cards in HubSpot show an error for everyone on your team.
It is likely a problem in your setup when only one workflow is affected, when only one person sees the error, or when an item shows a specific error message. In that case, start with Troubleshooting or Error messages.
What to do during an incident
- Do not rebuild or delete your workflows. They are not the cause, and a rebuilt workflow does not run sooner.
- Wait for the status page to show that the incident is resolved.
- Open the Outputs page of each affected workflow and rerun the items that failed. A rerun sends the workflow's emails and signature requests again, so rerun only the items that did not finish.
- For a Google Form or Google Sheet that runs on Auto-create, check that each response or row from the incident window has an output. To process the ones that are missing, click Automate, switch the dropdown to Custom range, and enter the response or row numbers.
If items are still stuck after the incident is resolved, copy a support code for one of them and contact us.
